Hey guys,

As we all know aviation in the US is one of the thing we can still say we are number one in the world in. Sadly some folks in congress are looking to privatize ATC and bring about user fees, charging us per flight, not only would this encourage folks to not talk to ATC, it would also be a major hit to what we do, and hurt people who put food on the table with aviation.

PLEASE fill this out and let your local congress critter know you don't want want to screw with our existing and working system. Protect GA folks!

Re: People trying to destroy aviation, help needed!

.

Is the FAA a friend of general aviation? In other words, are they supportive, ambivalent, or anti ?

Amateur radio ( Ham Radio) is far different from commercial broadcasters and other commercial users of our radio spectrum. The FCC has not always been a friend to ham radio operators. The changes have often been very gradual in terms of grabbing away very valuable frequency spectrum space from hams.

Likewise General Aviation is far different from commercial aviation. Given how FAA has dealt with medical reform and other issues, it is not too hard to see that this Federal Agency is just not that concerned with General Aviation. User fees and other user assessments be damned.

May I have another ramp check please, Sir?
