Cotonou, Benin, Air Force Base. I asked around it apparently came from Belgium. No real damage to it, couple holes in the fabric, I wonder why they stopped flying it. Don't know how it got painted up in Air Force colors or why it is on a pedestal. Engine missing, I later found a red Zenith 701 in the aeroclub hangar and one of the locals said the engine came off the Petrel.

Internet says the Petrel is a pretty good short field performer, though for some reason they didn't like it in Benin.
