Philippines Annual Balloon Festival (with planes too!)

Not even a tropical downpour could keep a few thousand interested people from visiting the 2011 Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival at Clark Field, Pampanga, Luzon island, Philippines during Feb 10-13.

Looks like you may need some Full Lotus floats for the UL's.

Re: Philippines Annual Balloon Festival (with planes too!)

Sorry you guys..hahah. I am married to a Filipina. I am still learning Tagalog. No I am not a girl. I really like the girls. For those who have not experienced Angeles City, Ph. It's a adult paradise, like Disney for Men.

Anyways, Ridgerunner......I hope to see you in Angeles sometime. Maybe we can go flying. When I got my checkout in Omni Aviation's C-172, I saw a number of dirt strips and the Angleles City Flying clubs grass strip. Maybe we can upload some pictures and video of the International BCP members doing their thing!

That roughly translates to "Am I really many girls?"

Dunno. Are you many girls? Or do you mean, "Gusto kong makita yung mga babae." :P

Ang asawa ko ay Filipina. :D

Sorry, replied before I saw this. Keep working on on that Tagalog. =D>

Maybe we need a sub-group for aviators with Filipino wives.

Haha, yes. My wife also knows what Angeles City is all about. I dont get there often. When I do, It is usually to visit other expat friends of mine, with an added benefit of getting some flying at Omni. I am not really into the bar girl's. It's occasionally fun, like when I took my kid brother bar hopping. That's about it. I usually fly from Diego Garcia - Singapore to Manila. Manila to Tacloban, then 3 hour van ride to the town of Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

I do this at least every six months. I like the province life. Nanay and Tatay are very welcoming. It's a simple life. Shower's from buckets of well water. Chickens, Pigs and fresh veggies everyday. Plus all the Sam Miguel, Cobra Energy and Tanduay Rum I can drink.
