phoenix area hangar

ANyone have a hangar in the Phoenix area they might want to rent space a 1959 Cessna 182? Moving to Phoenix in September.. returning to the corporate world so I can afford to feed my habits. Moab has been great but I will take a 53% pay increase!

There is a 2 year waiting list for Falcon field hangars. Can't get Deer Valley to call me back.

Re: phoenix area hangar

Deer Valley has immediate openings for covered tiedowns, and I think the small hangers are about a 4 or 5 month wait. Large hangers are still about 6 years.

Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted.

Thanks all. I have calls into DVT. Since there are wait lists, also looking at the slim chance of sub-renting some space in someone's large hangar

Call the airport manager, Tommy at Carefree Skyranch. 602-708-2040 I know of a couple of hangars that are for rent up there. Average cost is $450-$500/mo. Tommy can put you in contact with the owners.
