Zane you gotta let me know when you're coming to Colorado to go sking!
My friend and i are planning a trip from Durango to Telluride for a day of snowboarding. about 30 minute flight. it's great because i never did that in Michigan. Nice to fit 2 boards 4 boots and other ski apparel and 2 dudes in their. We might have to clip some lift tickets though  That shit is expensive you know :) :) Peter

Does that mean you sneak up on a guy in the parking lot with the dikes and clip his freshly purchased lift ticket unbeknownst to him? ;)

Man, you must be stoked to be in the mountains now. I've never skied CO but I really want to. Erin has a ski bum friend in Steamboat, so we might visit this winter.

If you still have questions after reading the photo tutorials, I am happy to help.

Yes, and while you are driving through we have Sun Valley, all the Salt Lake areas with in 2.5 hrs and then on the way you have Targee and Jackson. I will always take a day, week or what ever to hit the slopes.

No, i would never steel a guys lift ticket. It usually works at half day time when people purchase a full day and then they can only ski half a day. This actually happens a bunch sometimes you gotta wait 20 minutes though  Often the father of a family trip will have a member of his family who doesn't want to go that day and being the wealthy business man he is, he is more then willing to sell his extra full day pass for 1/2 or 2/3rds full price for cash. this has happened for me many times when i used to live here 5 years ago. No the Telluride trip would be: leave durango really early on a nice day fly there :D buy full day ticket, try to get first run and ski the hell out of yours legs all day to get your $$$worth then fly back

My buddy used to be a snowboard instructor at Steamboat for 5 or 6 years and know is a school teacher in Denver, we are certainly planning to do a weekend at Steamboat. He knows the resort like we know our airplanes. great to ride w/locals really the best way to ride such a big resort. Hopefull we can organize something??

I have not snowboarded all over, never being to alaska :( :( :(
But SNOWBIRD in Salt Lake City is the most incredible resort :!: :!:
Never mind the snow quality in SLC is much better then Colorado.
Its the only place wear my friends and i were in powder OVER waist deep with NO DRAG. It is so light and fluffy. Colorado snow is great but once the day moves along Colorado powder can get heavy and very draggy. man it gets you tired. I'd like to try Jackson Hole. on man snowbird........
