Every now and then I talk a focused browse though the BCP photo gallery to see what people have been uploading, and think WOW -- there is some cool stuff in here.

The ski flying season always brings some good ones from the likes of BRD and the Minnesota crew.

Until you view photos like this from afar (as I am now in my Mumbai residence) you will never understand how unique it is to be able to do these things in the world, or how lucky we are. For most of the world has no GA, no places like this to fly, or the ability for people of a normal workady class to do these things. Think about that. I do. And when I get back to Montana, nobody gets between me and my 170! Its a flyfest beyond description....everytime I get back to the U.S. So reflect on what it would feel like to not be able, even once to do this kind of flying.....

Wow Norm, just spent the last half hour viewing your sons photos. WHat fantastic pix. They outdo anything I've seen here yet. But it seems you can't take a bad picture in alaska. Kudo's to Shaun and congrats on what was a fantastic voyage......

Thanks. He is a great photographer and a good super cub pilot (he was one of the planes in Loni's cubdriver alaska DVD).

He's headed back to AK in a few days and will be posting more pix. His site has had almost 157,000 hits in the last year.

I've thoroughly enjoyed your son's photos too. I *wasted* many an hour at work drooling over them.
