Pic of the new float plane (kind of)

As some of you know, I bought my new float plane last month. Here is a pic of it. Doesnt look like much now, but float kit is going on any day as well as new 8068 82" 3 blade prop. Aerocet 3500's going on in the spring. Only gotta wait 6 months now #-o

What all is involved with putting in a float kit?

Those 3500 floats should provide lots of floatation. What are you expecting for cruise speed?

Re: Pic of the new float plane (kind of)

The seaplanes west float kit includes heavy duty motor mounts, wire stiffening cross braces and float fittings installed on the aircraft. I'm expecting cruise speeds in the 115 knot range minimum at around 65% power. Is it spring yet? [-o<
