Jr.Cubbuilder, how big are the files you want to upload?
We can change the file size cap, but I would prefer not to go too far beyond 1024K(1 MB) simply to maintain efficiency in our storage area. It's easy to acheive a nice big high resolution photo under 1MB, but you may need to resize with your photo editing software before uploading.
A lot of digital cameras spit out their JPGs at resolutions in excess of 2200 pixels wide, which , is great, but if your compression is set too high (FINE or QUALITY setting on the camera) the image file will be greater that our limit of 1MB. I am looking thru my folder of images right now, and I see that most of mine are about 2272x1704 resolution, 821 KB, less than 1 MB. I am looking at my camera settings, and I see that it's set to MEDIUM FINE.
If you have a bunch of photos taken at low compression(higher quality) then it's easy to change that using pretty much any photo editing software. You can open and Save As JPG(or something to that effect) and it should prompt you for compression level, a number between 1 and 10.
