I know this isn't an airplane part, but a lot of us are working on airplanes so this has some relevance:

I picked one of these up thinking it might at least reduce the time I spend getting glued-on fiberglass to come off of places like my firewall. I tried it today, and man did it work! Within a few minutes I had half of the firewall cleaned up just using the charge it came with out of the box. I held a small shop vac nozzle next to it to suck up the glass dust, and it seemed to keep the mess to a minimum.
For this test I used the brush attachment. My only real complaint is that if I push too hard and bog the brush down, it will shut off and require turning the switch off and on. Since I haven't tried it on a full charge yet I'm not sure if a little more juice in the battery will sort that out. It has a few other attachments for getting gunk off of things but I have not tried them yet. I think I'm going to see how those do on the infamous Cessna glue next as an alternative to huffing MEK.
If you are doing a restoration project like so many of us are on here, I think this may be a good $50 tool to buy.
