Plane rental for flightseeing in Anchorage

Hi Guys. I am planning on taking a trip to Anchorage on 7/27 - 8/3. I wanted to rent a plane for flightseeing if possible (with an instructor of course). I will be with 2 other guys (4 total with the instructor) who I am sure will want to go, so I am thinking a 182 or something else in that class....possibly even a twin. I would like to keep the cost to around $300-$350 per person, and I would like to fly for 2 1/2 to 3 hours (I know I want it all!!). Would this be possible? If so could you give some people to contact?

I would love to log some AK time if possible and get to know the area. The next time I am in AK with the family (2009) I would like to see if I could rent a floatplane or have someone take me flying in the bush.

Well, I better run. Thanks in advance for the info....

check out this operation.
he is a little ways north of anchorage, but the scenery is much better up here than in the city. he does a bush course and also a mountain course.

instruction is in a 4 place maule on bushwheels or a super champ.

another good one locally is here:

he has a bush course in a supercub on bushwheels, and also does seaplane ratings and advanced seaplane courses in a 160hp pacer

try them both!

enjoy

Up_M5 Thanks for the information. I just wrote both of them. I would love to log some AK time and see some cool sights. I live in CO which has some good scenery, but I am thinking AK blows all of this away!!!
