Portland area barnstorming/video testing 11-23 10:00am

I'm going out to do some video shooting in the Sport Cub on saturday mid-morning, taking a friend who will be helping me shoot on some future project. If anyone is around and wants to play video subject, join up with us.

I'll be out 10am-1pm, starting at Twin Oaks. Can only do grass strips, off-airport not allowed for rentals unfortunately. Thinking of heading to Daybreak. Any other ideas are welcome.

Zane,

I'd like to join in. We finally got some nice fall weather here in the northwest and I need to go flying! The weather out my way is currently calling for freezing fog until 10am on saturday. I really hope that does not happen. When the inversion sets in out here I can be a little ugly. With any luck it will burn off early and I'll come blasting out of the gorge with a 45 knot tailwind. :D

I'll shoot for Twin Oaks by 10am,

Do you have a frequency you'll be working on?

Not sure my 170 is quite the video subject your looking for. But if nothing else it gives me a mission for the day to come over and find you guys.

Ken, I'll monitor 122.725 and we'll use that for any air-to-air comm. It doesn't matter what your plane looks like, we're just after some practice and lens tests and stuff. I'll certainly post whatever we get.

Head for Daybreak, unless anyone can think of a better spot.

I'm out for tomorrow. Airplane is down for maintenance and the rest are already scheduled. Renting is tough...

Wx looks good through Thanksgiving so I might get out next week.

We are planning to do Thanksgiving in Sherwood and I hope to fly over sometime during the beginning of the week weather permitting. I usually use Sportsman Airpark. No solid plans for most of the week so I might be up for some flying! Give me a shout if it works out for you.

If I don't get to fly over then I'll be looking for someone with property to let me shoot a deer with my bow. I have a tag burning a hole in my pocket!
