If we get some good flying weather that weekend, I'll be up there. Sounds fun!

Aww poo. Cornelius Roadhouse is literally just a couple of minutes up the road from my casa. Unfortunately I will be in the torture box on the 10th in Seattle. Perhaps the skygods will look favorably upon me in the future and allow me to meet up with you all.

Have fun!

Re: Portland, OR BCP holiday dinner

Well Zane, what is your call. Where? Time?

I would suggest lunch time so if some want to fly home that is an option. The rest of us can start drinking sooner.

Cheers

Re: Portland, OR BCP holiday dinner

I accidently didn't vote. I'd love to go to Robs but how are we to get there if flying in? I think the roadhouse might be closer for flyers.....which if we have decent weather will mean a better show maybe! Cornelius Roadhouse also allows you to use PDX which, although you have a landing fee, you can get a courtesy car! :)

If Zane says at my shop we will have guys with cars to shuttle. Only 15 minute ride. What ever Zane says this is his baby. I'm here for support.

Good day

Zane is being derelict in his final call on when and where. Sounds like my happy hour may start earlier than yours. :D

Cornelius Roadhouse is near Hillsboro (HIO). It would be a much longer trek from PDX. Edgefield is very close to TTD, basically the same thing as Cornelius Roadhouse. Different old building, same menu.

I'm fine with whatever you guys want to do. Either way we'll have to shuttle those flying in. If flying in, I'd recommend planning on a hotel or something. Not drinking and flying homenear dusk (4:15pm) doesn't sound smart.

Rob's shop pros: Private, no kids screaming, cool stuff to look at. Passing out drunk probably has less severe consequences than if done at restaurant.

Rob's shop cons: We have to cook our own meals and do our own dishes, booze selection probably narrower. Booze cheaper when you don't have to pay someone to serve you.
