Possibility of getting an old worn out turboprop?
Lycoming, Continental, Hartzell, McCauley, or any broad spectrum drive system component used on multiple type.

I have always liked turbine engines. They just seem so much more suited for aviation.
I know how piston engines work. I know how to tear them down and put them together.
However, I don't know as much about turbine engines as I would like to. I have watched plenty of videos, but that doesn't really cover everything.
My question is this: Is there any way to get a worn out turboprop for little to no cost?
It doesn't have to work. All I want to do is tear it down. (If there was a small chance to make it run that would be great, but I just plan to open it up and see how it works)

SERVICE CEILING -noun - The altitude at which the pilot starts smacking the dash, exclaiming, "CLIMB OL' GIRL CLIMB!"

I would imagine there's a market for the smaller turbines used for APUs like the Solar T41. There has to be lots of parts and non-running examples out there.
