WOW! How can one turn this down. I was thinking of flying into the airshow at Hillsboro but this has changed my mind. think I will go camping in powers instead.

I hope you guys are having fun! Work today was especially shitty

Couldn't make powers but had a good day. Sky dive bash and the long board classic surf contest in town. Flew to Selietz Bay then caught a ride with a friend to Depoe Bay for the salmon festival.

Well, we missed you Rob, but we had fun anyways! And holy crap, Tom Elam is the most generous person around!

I got to fly my first ultralight, so that was cool! Did anyone get a picture of me in that thing?

Super warm Saturday (90's) and then waiting for the fog to lift on Sunday a.m. 11 planes with 2 ultralights!



Sorry, Tyler no pics of you in the UltraLight. Linda at Lucas Lodge mentioned that we were welcomed to have a get-together/fly-in at Lucas Lodge. We could camp by the airplanes if we wanted, or in the meadows by the cabins, or get a room from her. Just thought we would mention it now as we begin to think about next year! Just thought it was very gracious of her to offer. We had a fantastic breakfast there as usual!! Business is open through October 31!!

The nice part about powers is it's long and open. Lucas is great! But kinda small
If you're loaded and there is any form
of tailwind! Stick with powers! Plus it's open for potato gun activities!

I had a nice flight to Klamath and then Carson city, could not make it to Tahoe for smoke , but my buddy drove to pick me up.

On the way home from Agness, Cathy and I landed at Half Moon Bar as there were no X's on the runway and it had been mowed sometime this summer. It is for sale for $2.4 million, so we dropped in as perspective buyers.http://www.rmabrokers.com/listings/half-moon-bar-lodge.php What a cool approach into there, the canyon gets pretty tight towards the end, and then the final swath of tree you go through is probably only 80' wide. I sure hope who ever buys it is aviation friendly as it would add another sweet spot to fly into on the Rogue!

Hi Tom: glad to have you here. We will be back to Powers in the spring for sure. See you then. We will be doing a special fly in, in memory of Tom and Tyler. Details to follow.
