Pponk Performance Data Sheet? (NOT horse power data)
Lycoming, Continental, Hartzell, McCauley, or any broad spectrum drive system component used on multiple type.

Does anyone know if Steve Knopp has developed some form of performance data with the Pponk for addition to the pilot operating hand book? Specifically takeoff distance at density altitudes? I would also be interested with gross weight increases like the Kenmore Harbor gross weight STC on the 180. I know a lot of you guys use your planes at altitude in back country so I was wandering if Steve or anyone has developed anything.
Thanks,
H Nay

Most STC I have read and read about generally make more claims in their marketing adds than they do in any final published STC paperwork.
Most of the ones i have installed say something to the effect of:
These changes will NOT be detrimental to the air-crafts overall performance and may improve some elements of performance.
Only one I have seen and tried to read was an Air-plain's IO-360 upgrade for a 172S to 172P or R- That was SO extensive as to be difficult for me to figure out what was what as it was all ADDITIONALLY added to the back of the AFM for the one plane that i ever flew with that mod.
I have - somewhere on disc - a full copy of the original Bush 170 conversion
to a Lyc. O-360. Mostly drawings and parts - not much data on performance.
Best I can do for now
