Practicing my Short field in the 172

Not much on posting videos, was out last night in the 80+ degree heat and 3/4+ fuel just trying to see how the old girl will do being heavy, hot and DA issues. Strip is 1800' from tree line to tree line. Bit deceiving as the beginning in nearly a 10' drop on each end. Hill with very tall trees on the SW end in particular. The old 172 is traveling to it's new home soon and I sure am going to miss her.

Thank you sir! Having owned/flown this same plane for going on 35 years, it seems that I am always learning new techniques and ways to improve.

Cessna has done well with a good airplane and good support. Nice strip as well. Tress but lower on short final.
