Pre-Buy needed in Cody, WY
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
Good evening -
Looking at purchasing a new plane and it's going to be tough to get my mechanic there to perform the inspection. The local shop on the field is 3 weeks out and i'd rather have someone that hasn't worked on the plane perform the inspection. Any suggestions of a local mechanic in Cody or perhaps one that would travel from Billings to Cody? Thanks

I’m not very familiar with the Billings businesses, but give Aerotronics Billings office a call and ask them if they can recommend a good A&P. They’re avionics installers, but they know everyone in that area.

Depending on the plane make and model I know a mechanic that might be willing to do a prebuy. Cody is a 1.5 hr flight from me. Send me a pm if that's something you might be interested in.

Thanks Gents - think we can track down a A&P, now the next search is for some wing jacks in order to perform gear swing & inspection!
