Prinville Or. S39 Meet and greet. 4/13/13
Get together with other pilots or enthusiasts. Plan it or get info about it here.
52Romeo ask me to post this. He told me it will be worth coming by. Food provided. Starts at 4PM Waiting for 52R to tell me what building. Probably the FBO. I'm going to try and make it unless TomW comes to Troutdale.
Cheers...Rob

This event is taking place right across from our hangar! It's in the NE corner of the airport. Super easy to find and there will be plenty of parking for airplanes and cars. I'm planning to be there and will have the hangar open for additional restrooms and airplane gawking! I talked to Kelly (airport manager/pilot (C180; Staggerwing; Supercub; etc)) yesterday and he said food, raffle and an overall informal good time. Plan on around 4-6 PM. Hope to see some of you there!

I plan on making it. I'm typically in one of those annoying "mosquitos", but I'll be driving out, time permitting.

I totally forgot to take any pictures but the event was a success! I'm guessing about 50 people or so showed up. The wind kept the airplanes away. I thought it was just 52Romeo and I holding down the fort until the end when I met the man behind Point338. Not sure if any other BCP'ers were hiding in the crowd. I got a line or two on a couple more airstrips and met some interesting people. Met Mary with the OPA and had a chance to talk with her for a little afterwards. Also talked with the program manager for the Light Fixed Wing division of the Forest Service about how the new Oregon's Recreational Use Statute might affect public lands. All in all a good evening.

I wish I could have made it. Not dealing with the wx was the right call. Not much better today.
