prop overhaul near Arlington WA
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
Got a fixed-pitch Sensenich that needs a going over. Anybody know who's near Arlington that does this? My FAA listing shows AC Propeller Services in Seattle, Northwest Propeller in Puyallup. Any recommendations?

'74 7GCBC, 26" ABW, Aera 660 feeding G5 and FC-10 FF.
I have had good experiences with both shops on many types of props. With a fixed pitch prop either would do a good job. Last time I heard it was around $400-600 to o/h a fixed pitch, that was a couple of years ago.
I recently found out fewer and fewer prop shops will do Hamilton Standard props because of the hands on time involved. NW still does and will do my 2B20 when I get to that part of the project.

I second NW Propeller at PLU. Ken did a super job on my McCauley for the Stearman, and few bucks cheaper than the couple of other places I check into. Ken even delivered it in the company truck to my hangar.

Yep, NW Prop!!! Been using them since the 80's. Great service, and honest. I tried a few others, but they just didn't quite stack up to NW Prop.

God put me here to accomplish a certain amount of things...right now I'm so far behind, I'll never die!!
I've done business with both Ken at NW and Mike at AC, and had positive experiences with both of them. NW is right on Thun Field if you're flying your prop in, but AC can easily meet you at Boeing Field so no real advantage there either way. I'd call both & check prices & time-to-complete , and go with the best combination.
