Everybody knows the biggest weakness of the new GoPro HERO3 is the battery life. It's due mainly to the built-in wireless radio, but that doesn't make the disappointment any more tolerable when you go to turn it on for approach and it's dead.

Been using my solar charger, and instead of having to drag the camera around without the housing to charge it, I searched for a 12v charger for GoPro batteries. I found this combo:

Wasabi Power Battery (2-Pack) and Charger for GoPro HD HERO3 and GoPro AHDBT-201, AHDBT-301

It's a 12v charger(with 115v prongs too) with 2 batteries for $23.99. I have the Wasabi power batteries for my Canon SLR and they seem great. The GoPro battery from GoPro is $20 by itself.

If you're after extra batteries only, they have that too.
