Re: PSA: Vertical Video

I've always ridiculed people for shooting tallscreen video, but it's not their fault. Smartphones are more comfortably held in a vertical orientation. The camera app should not be using the inertial sensor to determine video orientation, but rather a discrete onscreen switch to toggle. That way you could still shoot widescreen and hold you phone comfortably in vertical.

It's still endemic and only getting worse. Get the word out, people. Priceless moments in our lives are being ruined by this scourge.

Re: PSA: Vertical Video

Well, when I first read the thread title, I thought it said "Vertical Vertigo", which is what I get when I see vertical videos... So I guess my "interpretation" was entirely accurate... LOL
