BAM!!! POW!!! WHACK!!!

It kinda reminds you of something out of the old Batman series, huh!
Hey it's still "Punkin"... There's more orange on it now (surface area-wise) than there was before!

Yeah... It was a high-wing, yellow airplane with a round tail... Yeah... A CUB! That was it! It was a Piper Cub!

At least that's what I want 'em to think...

OH I thought that was yellow and RED. Of course, it goes so fast, the 2 colors will mix together to the naked eye.

What else did you do to the plane. When will you be flying again?

Instead of Punkin, looks like "Candy Corn" to me. Remember that?

HAHAHAHAHA!!!... "Candy Corn"... That's hilarious. I'm sure I'm gonna hear alot worse than that from some "purists" out there. (Not that I'm knocking purists... If my bird had been intended to return to gorgeous original shape and condition from the start, I might have fallen in that boat myself. I love an beautiful original 170 as much as a custom bird anyday!)

We had a DHL truck pull up in front of the hangar door while we were working on it last week. I'll hafta dig up the pic... It's pretty funny too! Maybe I can get a contract hauling trash for those guys.

Speedbump, I'll hafta make a list for ya. Just for starters: Franklin 220, CS prop, baggage door, extended baggage, 180 gear legs...

Matt

PS. Speedbump - My dad brother and I flew into Red Creek this morning. Field's in great shape and it was a beautiful sunrise right after we got there. Did you leave that cooler full of firewood with a couple jugs of water at the west end? Figured you might be headed up there for a camp out this weekend... Should be great weather!
