I like the “Insta 360 One X” from my limited research on google.com.

Q: suggestions all aspects recording 360 videos mounted on a helicopter external (“stick cam”)? Mounts, camera, software?

Rotating aviation videos with a mouse/pointer is definitely fun to do! I have zero knowledge however recording such.

Hahahaha. I actually saw one of these in person several years ago in Juneau. Maybe not exactly the same but it was for IMAX. Looked very expensive, $110K seems about right.
