Randys dornier

What is that dornier of randys and were can i get one ! what sise bushweels are in it and what is the short field performance like? I googled it it seems to have the same engine as a helio but it doesent have much for performance specks. Looks real cool though anyone know much about them?

You should see the tail wheel on Randy's plane. I do believe it is indestructible!

The only thing it needs is about 400 more horse power on the nose... or more.... The tires are 35" Alaskan Bushwheel Beaver tires on a Beaver wheel and brake kit that we had coustum built. It is a very cool airplane for sure!

I was stationed in Germany for three years, they are not rare at all over there. Everything was a German brand. Radios were obviously King, but had the name Grundig on them etc.

I see that it is an experimental. I assume that means it's certified in the exhibition category. How does that limit what sort of flying he does in it? Can most any flight be made under the banner of "staying proficient"?
Seems like with a plane like that you had better plan at least an extra hour where ever you stop to answer questions.
