Raptor Diesel - 5,000 mile range

If this really becomes reality it's pretty cool.

Very interesting aircraft, for sure. Kind of like a Velocity XL on steroids. One of the airplanes I would like to build is the new Twin Velocity that is now flying. If these TDI powerplants become available using Jet-A, it looks like that might be an incredible combination. I like the Max Range Cruise of 230 KIAS on this Raptor. Of course, until they're flying one, it's all pie-in-the-sky for now anyway.

What the hell, I love airplane porn... 8) 8)
