AOPA had a nice article on Friday Harbor in this month's issue. Can't wait to check it out this summer. Glad you all had a good trip and great weather.

I flew up last summer to Orcas Island (East sound) stayed a few days and hitchhiked all over the island. I never had to wait long for a ride, the locals have a tradition of helping people get around and are very friendly. It helped that I was there just after the main tourist season was over. Some folks even turned around and gave me a lift all the way to my intended destination even though they had just come from there. I may go back this year!
