I would like to go but my airplane is in Vale, Or. in my hangar over there. I am in West Linn, OR. with out an airplane. I would be glad to ride along. If someone has an empty seat.

The wind tomorrow is suppose to be out of the east and strong at Troutdale. No fog! NE at the beach which is the best direction, it warms the air and keeps any low clouds out to sea.

This looks like the best day at the beach through the forecast period.

No fog? Wow, that would be nice. Last time I was there I thought I'd checked into Hotel California, didn't think I'd ever leave. Good thing someone told me the way out.

Hey Bob, if you have short legs or don't mind riding in the back of the Maule you can ride with me and my friend Tom. We will depart Troutdale before lunch so we can be at Pacific City close to chow time.

What a nice day, Got to meet skybobb after talking here for several years. My friend Tom who is a ATP, CFII came too. My friend Tom got diagnosed with ALS 6 months ago. Bub died from it. My neighbor who was a county sheriff and a guy who I road Harleys with died 2 years ago from ALS. WTF??

I value the memories of these friends. I hate it when my friends pass away in the prime of life.

A great time and Rob helped me get a flying fix. Even though I wasn't flying I got in the air it has been a month or more and I was having withdrawls. Rob did a great job of flying and I felt right at ease. I don't ride in the back seat much but it was a good ride in his nice Maule. It was beautiful at the beach, with bright sun and light and varible. I hope I can get to go again, I told him about Aeroacres Oscar Golf 30. 1800 feet, should be a breeze for his aircraft. Just watch the towered power line on the south end and the tall trees just across the road on the north end. Thanks for the ride rob . (Oregon Maule )

Happy...yep....flying....sun...and we are on the way to eat!

We are on.

One of those days we get at the beach 10 times a year. Boarder line hot. Good food and company.

All I can say is you should have been there!!!
