Does anyone recall the recent thread that had photos of a pre-WWII snowmachine? There was a fabric plane in the background, and the caption was something about how the guy's dad restores antique snow-gos?

No, that's not the same one I was thinking of, although it is pretty neat.

I'm pretty sure the one I'm thinking of was posted within the past month, but I just can't seem to find it. I think it was a thread about rag-and-tube restoration, or ski-flying, and in the foreground had the poster's father on an early sno-go. Located in Maine, perhaps?

I'm hoping to track down a parts source, is the reason.

Maybe you are thinking about the Winter Ski Flying thread on the supercub.org site. A guy had a picture of 1940's sled and t-craft there was some discussion of having four of them, including a white one from WII: http://www.supercub.org/forum/showthread.php?39015-Winter-ski-pics, posts 11, 12, 13.
