Recommend a Portland, OR Sportsman STOL Installation shop
Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?
I'm looking for a recommendation for a shop in the Portland, OR area to install a Sportsman stol kit on my Cessna 205. Preferably someone who has done it before, and thus can install it with high quality in the advertised amount of time.

Well... I’m not in Portland... other end of the state... But, I have installed several sets on 180, 182 and 185... takes 2 to 3 days for setup and install... depends on if I paint parts or do wiring...

Kyle at the Ragwood Refactory in Creswell OR did one for a friend of mine and it was very nicely done.

Steve and Brian installed mine. They did excellent work. Highly recommend having them do it.

A second for Steve's Aircraft, they are my personal mechanics, but they're at the opposite end of the state so it can be not so convenient.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
Danny Stark at Twin Oaks Airpark 7S3 - did mine in 2008. He did a great job I cannot recall how many hours it took him for the job but I believe he has done several since my installation. Probably less time now.

Thanks for a few ideas. I'm actually in Southeast Washington, but I have family in the Gorge and head that way often.
