Red Hills 9th Annual Fly-In 2023

Well heck. I've been missing in action for a few years, not really having reliable access to an airplane. But I'm back and so is the Red Hills Memorial Day Fly-In!

Come celebrate the end of the COVID pandemic state of emergency we've been enduring the past three years! Families are welcome but please NO dogs!

This year's fly-in will be a little more laid-back. A time to reconnect with old friends and tell lies about our flying exploits. We also want to take time to remember our dear friend Bob "Hawk" Hawkins who has flown west this year.

Friday is generally "arrival day" and there are no plans. This is also a "feed yourself" day.

Saturday activities include a breakfast fly out if you like, biking on the Red Hills trails, and the potluck dinner. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR SPECIAL ITEM FOR THE POTLUCK DINNER.

If you can't attend any other time try not to miss Sunday morning and Myrna's ranch-style breakfast! Breakfast is provided by the Moyle's. Please see Scott if you would like to make a cash donation to help offset the cost of the port-a-potty rental and breakfast.

Also note that the COVID-19 state of emergency in California has been lifted and all are welcome to attend. If you are flying in and have not done so they must review the safety briefing and sign the liability waiver below. Please do not invite anyone who is not competent in backcountry aircraft operations. This is not the time to practice.

The liability waiver and safety briefing may be found at the following URL's:

The Liability Waiver can be signed online at: https://goo.gl/HgZsXO
The Safety Briefing Video has been relocated to: https://vimeo.com/390412439

We sincerely hope you all can make it! Jack & Myrna are looking forward to seeing all of you this year.
