Red Hills Fly-In July 3-5, 2020 – CANCELLED

The Memorial Day Fly-In to Red Hills has been re-scheduled to the July 4th weekend due to the 'Shelter in Place' orders in California.

It's the perfect time to get out of the house and spend some time with fellow pilots in a semi remote location. We will be keeping physical distancing during the event to protect anyone who attends. We are planning a Fly-Out breakfast on Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon includes a Spot Landing Contest, Water Balloon Bombing Contest,Bike Riding and a Potluck Dinner.

Join us for a weekend in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. Please let us know if you will attend by adding to this post.

As usual, Sadie and I plan to be there. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
The Saturday evening potluck is something I have waited a year for (they are always great).

I am the worst fly-in organizer ever! Thank goodness we have Rich Finkle to carry the ball. I look forward to seeing everyone there! Bring your political incorrectness and good fellowship! And you do NOT want to miss Mrna's pancakes. =P~

We plan to be there. It is a very enjoyable fly-in, the strip is fun and that plush green lawn makes for a great night's sleep! We look forward to seeing everyone.

Cancelled - Red Hills FlyIn - Cancelled Cancelled - Red Hills FlyIn - Cancelled

Out of concern for the health and safety of our local communities and in conformance with recent “shelter in place” orders, we sadly have decided to cancel the Red Hills Fly-In for 2020. The runway will be closed with the standard X markings until further notice.

The most important thing during this pandemic is to ensure everyone stays healthy, and we feel an event even with ‘social distancing is not good for our hosts or our attendees. Take care of yourselves, your families and your communities.

Watch for our announcement about Red Hills 2021.
