Remember Oshkosh?

Geeze, was that a month ago? Here's my brothers web log of our trip out and back. He had it ready a long time ago, but then, he's only working three jobs, not fully retired like me. Those photos are great! I was actually checking out your brother's site today, looking at his Luscombe rebuild photos. Pretty cool.

Hey Yellowbelly,

You might want to tell Paul that his pictures are spreading through the internet like wildfire. I've received several email messages from friends (some who aren't even connected to the aviation community) who are passing the link to the Oshkosh page around. I've also seen it on a number of blogs and web forums. It would be interesting to see the bandwidth numbers for that page.

I flew into Tracy yesterday and taxied to the hangar to get some more clothes. (Home is where the bags are). A guy came by and said "Hey, you're the guy who went to Oshkosh!" I figured that narrowed it down to about 800,000 people, but he said he recognized the N-number as I taxied past. He had seen it on the internet.

A guy from AOPA contacted me about the page and I passed him on to Paul. I think they are going to use the material on their website somehow later this week.

Paul told me he had the "final" set narrowed down to 80 pictures and he had to be ruthless to come up with the ones on his page.

Celebrity eh? I'm still flying 60 miles to get $4.19/gal gas.
