I unfortunately (or fortunately?) have a wedding to attend in Reno on the 19th (weekend of the air races), and am looking for transient parking in the area on Friday and Saturday night - preferably away from the overpriced ramp fees of Atlantic Aviation at KRNO. Any recommendations out there for other places to look at KRNO or nearby? Thanks in advance!

KTRK is 40 min away by road, has rental cars on field. Carson City or Minden are also reasonably close. KRNO is usually packed race week esp by the weekend.

KCXP (Carson City) is less than 30 minutes from most places in Reno. Hertz will meet you at the airport with a car.

Make a reservation NOW or you will be unable to find either a car or parking spot near Reno because of the air races. If you have a vehicle or someone to pick you up, Beckwourth is also a possibility (I don't think they have rental cars there). About 40 minutes drive NW of Reno.
