the cross taxiways are only 1000 feet X 100. Does that count?

May be they were thinking of Frazer Lake a few miles to the south.
Grass and water strip.
Only caution is that the parallel water strip has been initially mistaken as the runway as it reflects starlight and moonlight better. Makes it look like a paved runway. That happened to a local who should have known better, but closing Wx and darkness almost got to him.
