The level of service at many local hotels is really plummeting around Southern California. I will not name any specific locations (“if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it policy”).

In contrast, I personally found the Hilton Double Tree is reasonably priced, quiet, and 8.3 miles from the factory. Great news if you are doing business in the South Bay or Harbor area. I’m not visiting Robinson this week however (I’m here getting ready for Hawaii).

The hotel’s surrounding land was originally a Korean metal scrapyard for recycling in Asia. It was dirty as sin. Los Angles removed all the debris and built this “planned community “ including the marina, yacht clubs and museums.
