I might, or might not (

), be trying to "cast" a rugged looking airfield for a future filming location for a yet secret project. In the script it's basically supposed to be somewhere in the NW area - wooded, a bit rough and interesting looking - Oregon, Washington, Canada, the Rockies etc. Interesting as in challenging. Ideally grass, but gravel also works. The muddier, dirtier and nastier the better. In a dream world, the airstrip should be surrounded by big trees close to the strip and/or be in or near mountainous terrain. Ideally no structures on it at all so it looks like its in the deep wilderness. The closer to SoCal the better, but we can fly to anywhere. Strip can be short, but needs to be able to land a lightly loaded Commander twin, so should ideally have 1500-2000ft.
Anything in the venerable members neck of the woods that fits the description and would be viable? Could also be something you've just flown past - all suggestions appreciated.
