Russian Flat is Now Open

This weekend we opened the first new airstrip on forest service land in over 45 years. It is located on the 294 radial of the Billings VOR at 92 nm at an elevation of 6300 MSL. Here's some pics of the weekend.

Nice pixs BM. Open a new strip is a great thing. I wish USFS opened as many as they closed.

Runway is about 3000 feet.
