S-tec Autopilot Intermittent

Trying to tap this wealth of knowledge before paying someone hourly to troubleshoot. (See the youtube video attached) My Stec autopilot did this for a while a few months back but then has been working perfect since then. Flight I took yesterday, I couldn't get it to turn on. The video is quick just as an example but I left it in test mode for 10 min and it still wouldn't turn on. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Re: S-tec Autopilot Intermittent

I had a similar thing happen - Mine was a S-Tec 30 (a little different than yours) and the issue turned out to be the disengage button in the yoke.

I couldn't believe how expensive it was to fix ($2.99 for the switch and 30 minutes shop time).
