Re: Saline Chicken Strip - Status Quo

This seems like a good place to post that as of roughly Dec. 8, it was in very good shape. This was after the big coastal storm.

I Flew out Yesterday 1/1/15 and it was very smooth. Looks like recently dragged and hardly any whoops just soft sand.

Got out just before sunset to make it into Lone Pine for a splash of fuel before complete darkness (6.25/gal ) Then had a very
smooth night flight home, with tailwind :D

Re: Saline Chicken Strip - Status Quo

Not sure how bad the sock was before but it is there and functioning. Looked a bit wind tattered but that could have been from Wed winds. From what the campers told us it was hard to hold a tent down Wed night.
