Sad deal, I'd met John this summer, and he was a real nice guy.

I don't want to speculate on what happened, as I've heard too many conflicting stories. I do know that the weather wasn't good, and that the IFR mins for an approach back into Salmon are pretty high. We'll leave it at that.

I'm amazed that 2 walked away. My deepest regards to the friends and family of John and Steven.
