Sandpiper and Rowenas

Somebody was asking about the Sandpiper Golf coarse and Rowenas restaurant so I thought I would link up to a video by Lloyd Reimers. It is a great place to fly for a meal. some golf , some good fishing and some wonderfull cabins and lodge. I must say this place has got me back in the good books more than once. On the way home the guys flew low over a bunch of the gravel bars we go fishing on.

Re: Sandpiper and Rowenas

Betty-Anne Pretty, the owner, lives on the property and I've chatted with her a few times expressing our gratitude to her for keeping the strip open. Especially in this day when it seems everyone with a private strip either wants to close it or prevent the general public from landing on it.

Nice little restaurant, I've used it for a doghouse remedy a few times myself.
