To kick off the fun, join us for the first
annual Seaplane Festival for discounted
flights, free seminars and a lakeside BBQ!
Student pilots, experienced pilots, friends,
and family are welcome.
Seaplane Festival Events:
10 a.m. FREE seminar:
"Get Your Water Wings"
Flight Instructor Nyle Campbell will
discuss what to expect and how to
get your seaplane rating, followed by
a Q&A session. Bring your questions
for Nyle!
12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
$99 Discovery Flight Special
Flight instructors will be standing by
to give you a discounted ride in the
American Champion Scout. Sign up
the same day or call ahead to reserve
your flight on floats!
12 p.m. FREE BBQ
Socialize with other float pilots and
seaplane flying fans at the lakeside
park located north of Rainier Flight
Service off of Perimeter Road.
Families welcome.
2 p.m. FREE seminar:
"Seaplane Safety & Risk Management"
Flight instructor Austin Watson will
give a presentation on learning to
think like a float pilot while assessing
weather and water, systems, equipment,
and ops.
Experienced flight instructors will be on
hand all day to answer your questions
about flight training and the joy of flying
a seaplane!
