Seat open to BCP 2014
Get together with other pilots or enthusiasts. Plan it or get info about it here.
Anyone in the greater PDX area. I have seat open going to BCP Fly-In. Planning on leaving Friday early afternoon and returning Sunday late a.m. Enjoy the flight in a window seat isle in a super C-180. If you want to fly left seat and dual for your log book, that is possible too.

Driving 85 miles to Portland doesn't sound like a bad deal for a free ride to Idaho...

Yeah man, figure out how to get to Portland and jump on that opportunity, that is really too hard to beat for anyone with out a plane! And to fly in a 180 non the less...

Tyler Adams, aka Chosstronaut, perished in a mid-air collision October 12, 2014. He was an enthusiastic and beloved contributor and he will be missed greatly.
I didn't see FREE anywhere. There is a unwritten rule. You always pitch in for gas even if not ask. If the owner says no thank you, then, and only then is it a free ride.

For sure, even if the lucky individual pays for all the gas it's still a good deal in my opinion.

My favorites are the ones that ask if they can give you money...(I'm thinking of course you can) and then they hand you $5 bucks...

And then of course I am thinking, well that will at least get the hanger door open...

I have a friend that asks me a couple of times a year to give his guests a floatplane ride around the area (have taken as many as three flights to give everyone a ride), then never any mention of helping to pay for gas, which I flight plane for 17 gallons per hour X around $7.00 per gallon here in Canada. I think most people assume the cost of flying for an hour is no more than driving a car, the ones that do know should be helping pay their way.

I need to come fly over there more Steve. $7 a gallon sounds cheap. Last time I got av gas it was $2/liter.
