I pulled into Indian Creek last Saturday while floating the Middle Fork. While filling my water jug at the guard station I hear a guy yelling STOP STOP!! Two guys were parking their plane between two other planes. They didn't get the plane stopped and hit the wingtip of one of the planes with their tip. Both planes rocked back and forth a few times.
He had just landed and him and a buddy were pushing the plane back park it. When I first saw where they planned to park i figured it must be a group flying together; no other reason I could think of to park so close to other planes.
I finished filling my jug and carried back to my boat. The guys didn't seem to be looking around for the owner of the plane they had hit so I started looking. I didn't have much time but I checked with everyone on the beach and the guys fishing close by. I didn't find the owner and I had to leave.
After I left I figured I should have written down both N numbers and called the owner who's plane was hit to make sure the other guy talked to him.
What would you have done???

Whee it sounds like you made an effort...the guys that did the damage are the guys who should feel guilty. You can't always second guess yourself after the fact..you did what you felt was necessary at the time. Hopefully those responsible will act accordingly.
