I spent the last week in northern Idaho with Mike Kinkade and Mountain Lake Seaplanes getting my SES rating. Put 9.9 hrs in the log book, learned some stuff, and had a great time. Got a chance to fly a J-3 cub in all sorts of varied terrain and weather including big lakes, small lakes and river landings. The instructors were top notch and float flying is addicting!
