SFRA Change

A resent amendment with the SFRA starting on Dec. 1st, traffic departing and arriving KJYO will no longer need to file flight plans. The 1226, and 1227 squawk codes are still required but the flight plans are not  =D> :D . I think I'm probobly the only one here that flys into KJYO but I am super stoked that another part of the SFRA is being chipped away. Anyone know who is responsible for this change? I would love to personally call and thank them (I think my student would like to kiss them). \:D/

Re: SFRA Change

I go over there once in awhile. Nice field.

My hopes are they will just scale back to the FRZ. I really doubt there prepared to do the proper intercept and destroy if they needed too. The flying in these tight corridors and under the class B are just asking for problems with to much traffic in a corridor. Or an engine out with no altitude to glide far.
