I got a kick out of the Anchorage area traffic refrences. In 1985 we drove to Alaska. We were unfortunate to be driving through Anchorage at 4:30 pm on a Friday in June. Now when my wife and I are sitting at what seems to be a 15 minute red light we look at each other and say "Anchorage stop light". I can't imagine what it must be like now.

Of course I've met some city slickers in Los Anchorage who "just don't understand" too....
Now in Kotz they'd just look at you funny and go, "What's a stoplight?"

Stopped trying to tell people what Alaska is about years ago

After one minute they start looking confused and uninterested and look like they want to change the subject.

Think I did see some shrubs at the Bush Company...

But to expensive for me

"Stopped trying to tell people what Alaska is about years ago" ....it is talking about Anchorage (Seattle's northernmost suburb), not Alaska.
The line about the RV going too fast was awesome!

The winner is the person with the most stories when he dies, not the most gold.
