Site cosmetic changes

I made some changes last night to the logo and menus. I don't feel like booting into Windows, so can someone please tell me if the menus work okay in IE 7?

Clear your cache first.

Thanks.

Zane, I am viewing the site in IE7 and the only problem I have encountered so far is that the drop down menus are not working. For example, when I hover my pointer over Forum it does not show the three menu options.

Maybe it's just me, but I 'm having a hard time reading the links as they are green on a green background?

Cannot read menus as previously mentioned.

It's confirmed that the drop-downs don't work in Internet Explorer. Leave it Microsoft to not comply with web browser standards. Now I have to reinvent the wheel. I built a nice elegant solution that only works in Firefox.

Here's how it looks in Firefox. I'll be working on it for the next few hours so expect some bugginess. I have to rip it apart and redo it. :x

The drop down menus are now working for me, at least.

Be sure to clear your browser cache. I had the same problem in Firefox, but clearing the cache did the trick.

The drop down menus are functional in IE7 but running your mouse pointer over them causes the menu system to flash and their background to become transparent momentarily.

IE 7

Maybe this is one site that does not have to conform to Billyware ???

If more developers told MS where to stick it maybe they would start conforming more.

Don who? Where's the next windmill?

Did somebody say windmill? Rio Vista, Ca. Shiloh II, starting soon. I'm using Opera for a browser and have not had any problems so, no worries Zane.

Good for you guys! Billyware stinks.

Thanks everyone for helping me out. I think I have it all running fine. Just a few hours polishing the old turd, and she's good for another year.

I like the old logo better. Can you show them here side by side?

Hey Zane, The site is looking pretty good with my IE7. The menus all appear to be functioning fine. The only issue I have found is if I pull down the Links menu while I am writing this reply, the combo boxes (Font colour and Font Size) appear over the menu options.

I'll be continuing to make changes over the next few days. Just expect stuff to look weird or screwy, but if you find something like a text color that has really poor contrast with its background, let me know.

Thanks.

Fisherman: We're moving forward. The old logo is gone. I know how you feel though, I don't really like the look of the new Toyota Tundra compared to the old one. :)
