Nice video Jeremy! Looks like fun. I wish our gravel bars around here were more like yours. What filter are you waiting for? I have a GoPro also and would be interested to learn how to get rid of the prop artifacts.
The thing about mine is they have all kinds of crap on them, you have to watch out for old tires.... And they are surrounded by houses so I try not to loiter.
Nice vid reminds me of the old days Looks like the yellowstone river. Or the Yukon Just a tip...when turning around go to the high side and turn down hill ...less power required and less rock dings on the prop
This shot was down stream so 33-37, you can go slower up stream. To be honest I'm not quite sure, I just go off of feel. When you get too slow it feels Really bad and takes full power to recover, you will get into a hopping.
Great job, nothing like the gravel bars we have here. Large rocks , stumps , logs and wild life are some of what we have to contend with. I hope to see more videos you have made on flying. Keep up the great work... Ken in Alaska
