Someone rolled one up at Atlanta, ID. yesterday.
Debrief, share, and hopefully learn from the mistakes of others.
Life flighted out, no serious injuries. No other info. yet.

If you're not scarin' yourself, you're not scarin' the crowd!
It was supposedly some version of a Grumman (and I don't mean one of the cool ones like a Hellcat, Albatross, or Ag-Cat!) and ran off the runway getting back out.

I was at Hall's Crossing (U96) on Sunday and heard from the BLM that there is a 185 on its back at Nokai Dome. The occupants were taken out on Saturday. Anybody know more?

The truth will set you on the path to being free

One year at JC a guy came in with his wife and the entire back of his Yankee loaded with camping gear. He went around asking for advice on how to get out of there and what we would recommend. We told him to Take some of his gear to McCall, leave his wife and come back for her and with half tanks. He disregarded all our advice and took off with his gear and wife in the plane. Had one of the longest take off rolls I ever saw up there and barely cleared the trees at the North end. I guess he made it cause we never heard of or saw him again. Maybe it was him at atlanta.

People do some dumb shit, don't they? What he probably wanted to hear was "just load up and go". Thank goodness he didn't end up a smoking hole.

Probably flew.

If you are lucky!! I remember the first time I drove the 3 hours from Burley, ID to SLC after I had flown it for the first time as a teenager. I distictly remember thinking about how badly driving sucked.
